Deeper into Jeopardy! L: War Novels – $400

Well! It’s been quite some time, but I am settled down from my travels, from my new job, from a few other things that have been keeping me very busy these past few weeks since the start of Jeopardy!’s 32nd season, but I am back now to again resume this thrice-weekly tradition I’ve been doing for… twenty months? Thereabouts? And even better, this return-to-form just happens to be the decimally-significant milestone of installment number fifty! I think, for no particular reason, we’ll take a look at WAR NOVELS from last Friday’s episode, Matt Jackson’s eleventh victory. Quite a player, that one.

Jeopardy! category: WAR NOVELS (9-10-2015)

Deeper into Jeopardy! XLIX: Historic Islands – Final Jeopardy!

Last time we did Historic Objects, and this installment’s FJ! clue, since there haven’t been any about the Knights Templar, will be about HISTORIC ISLANDS instead. And hey, this is the last regularly-scheduled Deeper into Jeopardy! post of the show’s 31st season! Final Jeopardy! category: HISTORIC ISLANDS (13-7-1999)

Final Jeopardy! clue: A 900-year-old organization expelled in 1798 was allowed to return to this island in 1998

Correct response

The gist: Those other knights.  Continue reading

Deeper into Jeopardy! XLVIII: Historic Objects – Final Jeopardy!

HISTORIC OBJECTS has a whopping six exact-match Final Jeopardy! categories, so I just picked my favourite.

Final Jeopardy! category: HISTORIC OBJECTS (20-5-2005)
