Deeper into Jeopardy! XLVIII: Historic Objects – $400

As you may know if you’ve ever perused my about page, my education and training is as an archaeologist, so when I see a category like HISTORIC OBJECTS, I’m drawn to it like a moth to a flame, but with less burning.

$400 clue: Though probably cast in bronze earlier, the artifact seen here had this duo added around 1400 A.D.

No oxygenated Final Jeopardy!’s in the J!Archive, so this one deals instead with its “opposite” (as far as aerobic life goes), carbon dioxide.
